“Connection is the Bridge between Challenge and Possibility!”
Sometimes the most challenging seasons in life are the ones that shape us the most. They stretch us, refine us, and remind us what truly matters. Opening Pediatric Connections has been one of those seasons — full of hard work, big emotions, and countless moments of growth.
But the real gift has been the people. The families who trust me. The partners who cheer me on. The community that continues to open its arms. Every connection along the way has strengthened me and reminded me why this work matters so deeply.
As we get closer to opening our doors, I’m filled with gratitude for the challenges that pushed me, the lessons that grounded me, and the connections that carried me. Big things are coming, and I’m so honored to walk this journey with all of you.

Pediatric Connections
10 Days Until Our Grand Opening
We are officially 10 days away from the Grand Opening Celebration for Pediatric Connections, and I couldn’t be more grateful or excited. This clinic has grown out of my 30+ years of working with children and their families, and my love of watching them flourish. Every experience along the way has helped shape the foundation of Pediatric Connections, and I’m so excited to finally share this vision with the community.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned throughout my career is how important it is for parents to feel supported, informed, and included. When parents understand the “why” behind what we do, they become confident partners in their child’s development which truly transforms the therapy process.
Watching parents and children strengthen their bond through connection has always been the most rewarding part of my work as a speech therapist. Those shared moments of understanding, discovery, and growth are what inspired this clinic in the first place. What started as a dream has slowly taken shape into a warm, welcoming space for connection, growth, and community.
These last few weeks have been filled with equal parts preparation and gratitude. I’ve had so many moments where I’ve paused and thought about the families I’ve met over the years — the little breakthroughs, the shared smiles, the hard days, and the joyful ones. All of those experiences have shaped the heart behind Pediatric Connections.
In just 10 days, I get to open the doors and welcome you in. I can’t wait for you to explore the space, learn more about our programs, enjoy the activities we’ve planned, and celebrate this new beginning with us. Thank you for being part of this journey and for welcoming Pediatric Connections into Fuquay‑Varina. I’m truly honored to grow alongside this community.
The Beginning of Something Beautiful: Opening Pediatric Connections
For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of creating a space where children and families feel truly seen, supported, and empowered. After more than 30 years of working with infants, toddlers, and school‑age children across a wide range of settings, that dream is finally becoming a reality. I’m thrilled to share that Pediatric Connections is officially opening its doors — and with it, a new chapter filled with purpose, heart, and possibility.
Opening this practice isn’t just a professional milestone. It’s the culmination of years of learning, growing, listening, and imagining what exceptional pediatric care can look like. I’ve always believed that therapy should feel warm, relational, and deeply connected to a child’s everyday life. Families deserve support that honors their experiences, celebrates their strengths, and gives them practical tools they can use long after each session ends. Pediatric Connections was built with that belief at its core.
What matters most to me is creating a place where families feel welcomed the moment they walk in — a place where feeding challenges, speech sound disorders, language delays, and oral‑motor needs are met with expertise, compassion, and genuine partnership. My education and years of experience have shaped the way I work, but it’s the relationships with families that have shaped who I am as a clinician.
As I step into this new chapter, I’m filled with gratitude: for the families who have trusted me over the years, for the colleagues who have inspired me, and for the opportunity to build something that aligns so closely with my values. Pediatric Connections is more than a practice — it’s a supportive environment where children develop with confidence, families feel empowered, and progress emerges through meaningful, relationship‑based care.
Thank you for being part of this journey. I can’t wait to welcome you into Pediatric Connections and continue building a community where every child’s voice, feeding journey, and communication story is honored and supported.
